Being a Lebanese Vegan, when my son said he wanted to go to Bee Wali’s on his birthday, I quickly agreed. I have to admit that I did not believe that there even was Vegan Middle Eastern food, beyond what I already knew about – Falafel, hummus, etc.
All I can say is that we ate and ate and ate! The Kabob, Falafel, “chicken” plate, the hummus, of course; the baba ganoush, (roasted eggplant dip), burgers, imaginative wraps, curry fries, regular fries, roasted peppers, cucumber salad, parata (a South Asian flatbread)! All was so delish it was hard to believe. They also offer many gluten-free options.
The owners are dedicated to providing excellent food and service with a smile. I have not had any of the “lamb” dishes, but look forward to doing so soon.
The ambience is a 1950’s diner, very clean, intimate and cozy. You will love eating here and trying every item on their extensive menu!
